Crisis and additional support

Where to find urgent help, and what to do if Thought Compass is not the right support at this moment.
a quiet path through trees, suggesting support and a way forward

Thought Compass is not an emergency or crisis service.

If you are at immediate risk of harming yourself or someone else, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E department.

If you need urgent mental health support, you can contact NHS 111, speak to your GP, or contact your local mental health crisis team.

You can also contact Samaritans free at any time by calling 116 123.

Thought Compass offers online cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy and stress management coaching for adults who are looking for practical, collaborative support with issues such as anxiety, stress, self-doubt, confidence, performance pressure and unhelpful habits. This work is not a substitute for emergency support, diagnosis, medical treatment or psychiatric care.

If your needs fall outside my scope of practice, I will discuss this with you openly and, where appropriate, suggest that you contact another suitably qualified professional or support service.
